On Dec. 3th, 2010, USCF President, Larry Lee attended the second session of the Love for NPC for top ten voluntary activities. Of all the special consultants involved in this activity, Larry Lee delivered the important speech of "Boundless Love" as the only one speaker. In his speech, Larry Lee emphasized that the voluntary activities were not only the tradition of NPC, but also the tradition that we should inherit and develop in the future. The volunteer activity is nationally and internationally important. The core value of volunteer activities is the "love for life, country, and the whole world. This boundless love is the endless source of strength to overcome all the difficulties. NPC is the best example of joining the world and moving with time and making contributions to the society, to the times and to all the people.
Cheng Tianquan, the secretary of the CPC at NPC, and Ma Junjie, the deputy secretary both attended this activity.

After the debut of “Sheng Zhongguo and Zhu Jiali Sweet Songs and Beautiful violin Concert” at the NCPA on Oct. 22nd, this concert was another success in Guangzhou on Dec 13.
In order to enjoy this concert at the scene, Dr. Gene Grace, our senior advisor of USCF, flew from US to Guangzhou to attend this concert. Sheng zhongguo, the starring artist of this concert, flew from Shanghai to Guangzhou with his wife in advance. There were many other honored guests flying to Guangzhou for this concert, including Song Yuanding, our Chief Representative of USCF Shanghai Office, Wu Guosheng, the member of our Entrepreneurs Association and the president of Folunsi Group, etc.
Sheng zhongguo and Julia Zhu’s excellent and perfect performance made this concert in Guangzhou a great success.

On Dec. 17th, 2010, USCF President, Larry Lee, was invited by YouLan Women Poets Association in Beijing to deliver a wonderful lecture to tens of women poets on the appreciation of the aesthetics of poem and the beauty of the poetic life.
At the beginning, Larry gave a lecture on the following topics: Why do people need the poem in life? What is the essence of poem or what is the poem? What kind of poems are the best ones? How to appreciate poem and how to appreciate the harmony in the poem, the soul and the life? After that, he explained why the poem is the need of people's soul, the differences between the poem, the truth and knowledge, and the intrinsic relevance between poem and beauty.
During the lecture, Larry not only gave some insight views, but also gave some examples of the beautiful poems written by poets from different countries in different periods and talked about how to appreciate the poems. The topics greatly interested the poets of YouLan Women Poets Association. The atmosphere of the lecture was very pleasant. And they also asked a lot of interesting questions.
During the lecture, one of the young poets asked, ‘Why is he always ridiculed or laughed at when someone is called a poet in a country like China with thousands of years of civilization?" Larry answered, “There is not always a balance between the development in the material civilization and the spiritual civilization. The current society with its booming economy prefers material comfort, but the poems are used to express one's emotion, which is undervalued by people in current society. However, this abnormal phenomenon will not exist forever; the poem will definitely play an important role in our life. ” Larry’s excellent words received deafening applause from audience. 
This lecture ended in the poetic and pleasant atmosphere, which made everyone to further think about and try to interpret the value of the poems: the best part of the poem and its beauty is the harmony, which is called “the harmony between soul and circumstances, making one forget the surroundings”, as summarized by ancient poets. This kind of harmony is essential to our life, our family, our society and even the whole world. And there is a philosophy in this harmony. Therefore, trying to appreciate poem and its beauty will enhance our national culture, and will inspire people to create a harmonious society and a harmonious world! After the lecture, Larry and all poets had a dinner together.
