In April 2010, the Beijing Office, Hainan Office and Shenyang Office of US-China Foundation were engaged in the preparation of a series of activities, including the invitation of the famous pianist Lang Lang to be the spokesman of Hainan and Shenyang, his hometown, and the organization of Lang Lang’s piano recital.

The Culture and Arts Departments of the US-China Foundation offices nationwide were preparing for an involvement in the international performances at 2010 Dalian Beer Festival and Harbin Beer Festival in late summer.

The magazine of "Sino-US at 21st Century" founded by US-China Foundation was in preparation.

On April 23, President Larry Lee flew to San Francisco and attended “In Memory of the Flying Tigers” Exhibition at inivitation, and later on accompanied mainland investors in their investigation of projects investment in plenty of US cities, including San Francisco, New York, Raleigh and Durham City in North Carolina, Houston, to name just a few. Meanwhile, in his trip to US, President Larry Li also met with several senior advisers of US-China Foundation: Michael Bianco, Chairman & CEO of American Capital Markets Group; William Harrison, financier, investment banker, President of American Havest Company; Wang Fusheng, Lao Jing, well-known media people; James Xu, Founder of International Law Firm; Liu Tao, President of Shenyang Fellow-provinicals Reunion. Association in Houston, etc. Robert Wang, the President Special Assistant in New York greeted President Larry Li at New York's Kennedy Airport and accompanied him thoughout the activities in New York.
