On Dec 17, the news conference for the second Hainan International Travel Island New Year Concert was held successfully in Haikou . Sina.com, QQ.com , China Daily, NetEase, CNR.CN, hnfuwu.com and other media covered the conference.

2010 Hainan International Travel Island New Year Concert was held successfully at Haikou People Conference Hall on three evenings in a row. The concert was in the headlines of Hainan Daily, The Southern Metropolitan Daily and other mainstream news papers. Mr. Luo Baoming, vice secretary of Hainan CPC and governor of Hainan Province , attended the concert held on Dec 30, 2009, exclusively sponsored by the Southern Metropolitan Daily. Governor suggested this concert should be recorded and broadcasted again uring the Spring Festival.

The concert involved foreign performers and Chinese artists was especially presented to the Hainan .

The performers including well-known Italian conductor Gianluca Marciano; Igor Grasselli, a well-known violinist from Slovenia , well-known Chinese soprano Julia Zhu, well-known Chinese violinist Chai Liang, well-known Erhu player Ma Xiaohui; well-known American Soprano Anna Vikre and Bass Rod Nelman gave their excellent performance. American film star Kerry was invited to present this concert in English and Chinese.

After the great success of this concert, USCF will launch a series of musical events such as international musical festival and will make a great contribution to the cultural development in Hainan .
