1. The Olympic song ‘The Power of Unity’ started filming

The Olympic song ‘The Power of Unity’ planned and sponsored by USCF started filming in Beijing on August 2. USCF invited Mr TROY LUSH, well-known American singer, to star in the MTV with Julia Zhu, soprano and art director of USCF. ‘The Power of Unity’ was initially created by TROY LUSH and Re-write by Mr.Deng Yao, a very talented Chinese composer and arranged for a MTV by USCF especially for Beijing Olympic. This MTV expresses the best wishes of USCF and American people for Olympics.

TROY LUSH likes Chinese history and culture very much. USCF arranged for him to visit the Great Wall, Forbidden city and Beihai Park and other tourist attractions during his stay in Beijing to thank for Lush’s friendship to Chinese people and his contribution to Beijing Olympics.

2. Chinese and American singers sang together for Beijing Olympics

On August 4, Troy Lush, lyrics and music writer of “The Power of Unity”, well-known American popular song singer Troy Lush and soprano Julia Zhu gave reporters an interview at the scene. “The Power of Unity” written for Beijing Olympic by well-known American popular song singer, Troy Lush and Deng Yao, well-known Chinese composer, was broadcasted to the world during Beijing Olympics.

The song “The Power of Unity” sang by well-known Chinese soprano Julia Zhu and well-known American popular song singer Troy Lush, with the theme” One World, One Dream”, its lyrics full of philosophy, its beautiful music, expresses the power of unity made by 2008 Beijing Olympics symbolizing harmony and friendship. “The new MTV Power of Unity” is directed by Shu Yun, a well-known director from CCTV. The musical experts and professionals all remarked that this song with its strong attraction would be influential in international musical community. USCF has made this song known to the public at well-known websites. 

3. USCF Shenyang office has moved to its new Location

There are hundreds of shops, over ten modern department stores and several well-known markets in Shenyang Taiyuan commercial district with nearly one million customers visiting this district everyday and trade volume for one day more than 100 million RMB. Taiyuan commercial district is the busiest one in Shenyang City .

4. Julia Zhu sang at Global Harmony Concerts 

On August 14, there were a series of Beijing Global Harmony concerts co-organized by Ministry of Culture, PRC, Natinal Administration for Radio, Film and TV, Beijing Municipal Government and the 29th Olympic Committee, at which the Art Director of the United States and China Foundation and the soprano, Julia, Zhu, as the only specially invited Chinese singer, sang the song “The Love Song of Da Woer” characterized by the ethnic features.

Many international singing stars also performed at this concert, including Renee Fleming, Sumi Jo (from Korea ), Demet Holotofoseki and Maeqelo Jogadanelo. All the audience was deeply impressed by Julia and other famous singers’ performance. Julia, elegant and charming, attracted all eyes of the audience when she appeared on the stage.

As the performances were a series of concerts, foreign artists had a great deal of performances to give everyday. So, Julia only had less than ten minutes of rehearsal and less than once cooperation with the orchestra. But she had rich experiences of successfully holding the solo concerts in both US and China . Julia’s beautiful singing voices reverberated around the Great Hall of the People. She won great applause from thousands of Chinese and foreign audience.

5, The chief representative of USCF Shanghai office came to Beijing 

On August 21, Song Dingyuan, chief representative of USCF Shanghai office, came to Beijing to enjoy Beijing Olympic Games. He banqueted the main leaders of USCF in Beijing , including President of USCF, Larry Lee, the senior advisors of USCF, Qiu Shengyun, Hua Jinzhou and other business leaders at home and abroad. 

6, “The Power of Unity” was broadcasted on CCTV

On August 22, the MTV “The Power of Unity”, in which the famous soprano of China, Julia, Jia li Zhu and the well-known singer and composer of the US, Troy Lush sang together, was completed and was broadcasted on CCTV Music Channel for 5 times.

7, President Larry Lee flew to the US to attend the shareholder meeting of Neuisys

On August 25, President Larry Lee flew to the US to attend a series of important activities. He visited New York , Greensboro and Houston to arrange Mr. Hua Jinzhou’s photo show, Chinese calligraphy and paintings show, Wang Shanli and Zhou Hongxing’s calligraphy show and other artistic works. He met with many members of USCF and friends. He also attended the stockholder meeting of Neuisys in which USCF has a holding.
