1、Artistic supervisor of USCF Julia Zhu won an award for excellent singer
The award ceremony for “The Eighth National Vocal Competition Final” was held at Friendship Grand Theater in Harbin . The highest award of this competition granted by Chinese cultural ministry is Wenhua Award.Wenhua Award is very authoritative in terms of its jury and strict judging rules and procedure.On July 1, 2008, at 19.30, Julia Zhu, artistic supervisor of USCF won an award for excellent singer after series of tough competitions of qualifying heat, preliminary, heat and final.
2、Larry Lee, President of USCF, was invited to attend a celebration for US Independent Day in Shanghai
On the evening of July 3, 2008, Larry Lee, President of USCF, attended a celebration for the 232nd anniversary of US Independent Day held in Shanghai at the invitation of Consul General of US Consulate in Shanghai , Kenneth Jarrett. Mr. Song Dingyuan, chief representative of USCF Shanghai Office accompanied Larry to attend this celebration.
3、International Musical Reception Entitled “Celebrities Gathering in Shenyang ” Took Place in Shenyang
International Musical Reception Entitled “Celebrities Gathering in Shenyang” co-organized by USCF and EverGrand Property Company was held Yihe Hall on the third floor of Liming International Hotel in Shenyang on the evening of July 10, 2008.
Many provincial, municipal government officers and celebrities in Shenyang enjoyed the performance given by first-class Jazz band --- Martin Loyato from New York . The officers from US, France , Korea , Japan , and Russia , etc. Consulate in Shenyang and international friends attended this gathering.
4、USCF donated funds to the victims of Sichuan earthquake region
Larry Lee, President of USCF, donated funds to the victims of Sichuan earthquake region on behalf of USCF. Larry also met with Fan Baojun, Chairman of China Charity Federation and former deputy minister of Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs, Ma Guilin, director of International Department of China Charity Federation.

On July 29, Larry Lee, President of USCF, and Mr. Hou Fugui, head of USCF’s Entrepreneurs Association, Chairman of Shenyang Fang Yuan Group, as well as Mr. Wang Zhenpeng, Chairman of Shenyang Shuangxing Construction Group met with Mr. Joseph P. Kruzich, Cultural Consul of US Consulate in Shenyang .
Mr. Joseph P. Kruzich visited Shenyang Shuangxing Construction Group. After the visit, they had a pleasant meeting.

On July 30, Larry Lee, President of USCF, met with Zhou Jinyang, director of Department of Financial Service of Shenyang Financial and Commercial Development District and had lunch together.
In the afternoon, Larry Lee, President of USCF, and Mr. Madi, administrative supervisor of USCF, met with Mr. Pang Hongpo, head of Shenhe District, at Shenhe district government. Both parties discussed the work on further cooperation such as co-organizing International Financial Investment Forum next year at the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationship between China and America and the 10th anniversary of setting up USCF Shenyang branch; building American Fund Building; arranging for officers from Shenyang Financial and Commercial Development District to visit US and meet with important persons in American financial sector.
7、Troy Lush, well-known American composer came to China co-staring with USCF Artistic Supervisor in MTV” The Power of Unity”
Troy Lush, well-known American composer left for China from US on July 30 and arrived in Beijing on the afternoon of July 31.
Also, the MTV “ The Power of Unity” directed and planned by Shu Yun, well-known director from CCTV, Ms. Julia Zhu, artistic supervisor of USCF, and Larry Lee, President of USCF have been broadcasted on CCTV and other main TV stations offering a valuable gift to Beijing Olympics.
