Larry Lee, President of USCF attended a Christmas party at a software company - Tibco, Inc. at Stanford University 's Rodin Museum in California on the Dec. 16th. 

A reception in JW Marriott Hotel Houston was held on the evening of December 7 celebrating the Fifteenth anniversary of USCF. 
Mr. Yu Boren, vice consul general of Houston, city council of Houston, Peter Brown, assistant to Mayor, Helen Chang who works with Economy and Development Committee of Houston, Chairman of Asian Chamber of Commerce, former member of city council and vice mayor of Houston; Gordon Quan, President of Rice University Dr. Dave Leebren and his wife; Vice Mayor of Shenyang and his delegation and other guests of honor from every walks of society about 100 people attended the reception. Jennifer Yang who just won the Award of American Talent, famous performing artist, Liu Shanchuan, well-known soprano Yu Xiaomei gave their excellent performance at the scene.
The reception was grand and elegant. USCF has been founded for 15 years. Although USCF just opened in Houston not a very long ago, every event organized by USCF were very influential and received recognition and support from the mainstream society in the US and the CBF community. President Larry Lee, Ms. Helen Chang, member of City Council Peter Brown, Chairman Gordon Quan, Vice Consul General, Yu Boren, delivered their speeches respectively. Vice Mayor of Shenyang also introduced the investment environment and favorable policies for trade and investment promotion in Shenyang. The representative of Houston city, Peter Brown and visiting vice mayor of Shenyang Song, Qi signed a cooperation agreement between Houston and Shenyang. All attending guests spent a pleasant evening.

On December 24, Larry Lee, president of USCF flew to Shanghai and discussed with related parties about the details of cooperation and development in Shanghai.

On December 28, Larry Lee, president of USCF flew to Shenyang and spent pleasantly one day with staff of USCF Shenyang office and inspected related work there. 

On the afternoon of December 31, 2007, president of USCF, Larry Lee banqueted senior advisors of USCF including advisor general of USCF, first Chinese ambassador to the US, Cai Zemin; first Chinese ambassador to UN, Qin Huasun; former vice minister of United Front Work Department of CPC, Tian Henian; former Chinese consul general to Houston, Hua Jinzhou; former president of Beijng Renmin University, Zhou Hongxing. All the guests of honor were healthy and in high spirits and great talkers. Everyone gave their best wishes of New Year to USCF. Larry Lee, on behalf of USCF, expressed his thanks to the senior advisors for their great support to USCF and wished every senior advisors and their family good health and happiness. The banquet ended in pleasant atmosphere.
