On Oct.14, Larry Lee, president of the USCF, Chen Yuanzheng, president of XinLongXin Trade Ltd. and Su Ning, chief representative of USCF’s Shenyang office, met with Pang Hongpo, director of Shenyang financial trade exploitation committee, and Zhou Jinyang, director general of Shenyang financial service development bureau, which belongs to the financial trade exploitation committee. During the meeting, a series of matters concerned were negotiated and an initial cooperation was achieved. According to the cooperation purpose, USCF cooperate them upon the investment and the branch establishment of foreign financial organizations in Shenyang.

On Oct.19, president Larry Lee, as well as Qin Huasun, Li Zehou and Qiu Shengyun, three senior consultants of our Foundation, attended the international forum entitled “One Hundred Years’ Xiangya and Human Care”, which held in Changsha, Hunan province. It was co-organized by USCF and Xiangya Hospital and would address the issues such as society in harmony, humanity, understanding and care between human beings, living conditions and social services, etc, in order to emphasize the relationship between patients and hospitals at a high level of viewing this relationship as an important part of the development and harmony of society.

The holding of this high-level forum attracted extensive attention from home and abroad: Former US President George Bush Sr. especially sent a telegram to this forum on Oct.17. 
The forum lasted for two days and had a highly praise from the participators and medias.

On Oct.24, with USCF’s delicate arrangement, APAG program comes into a new stage. Five well-known opera experts arrived in Beijing. They are Brad Moore, from Metropolitan Opera, Joyce.Fieldsend, from Teatro La Fenice Venice, and Paul.Plummer, from Royal Opera House Covent Garden. In the next six days; a one-to-one coaching will be carried on.

On Oct.25, APAG vocal program training undrawed the purdah. Over 40 singers from the country were involved in the training. Including well-known singers as Yang Yang, Wang Feng, etc. on account of the high standard of this program, some of the singers specially back from Russia and Australia, to grasp this hard-won opportunity.

On Oct.30, after six days training, APAG program training ended successfully. Singers praised highly of the world-level training and instruction. Prof. Liang Ning also feels glad for seeing that singers had great achievement in a short time. The final competition in two days is under expectation.
