The preparation for the 2006 New Year Concert organized by USCF was under way in early November. Larry Lee, president of USCF, emphasized the importance of this concert at the two staff meetings of USCF respectively on November 14, November 24. He also assigned work at next stage according to the work schedule of this concert. Until this month, several domestic enterprises expressed their willingness to cooperate with USCF on this concert. The officials of the enterprises in charge said that this concert was very elegant, attractive and at international level in terms of the content and arrangement of this concert. Currently, USCF were having further discussions with the officials on the cooperation of this concert In addition, the well-known Manhattan Piano Trio and world-known violinist Mr. Cai Liang asked about the specific date of this concert and were very willing to perform at this concert if their performance schedules did not interfere with the date of this concert. We hoped that we could enjoy their excellent performances at this concert. The work for inviting sponsorship is actively under way.
On November 2, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF, executive director of organizing committee of 2005 China Model Contest flew to Shanghai to attend news conference of 2005 China Model Contest Huadong Division. Larry, on behalf of the organizing committee, delivered a speech at the news conference.
On November 10, 2005, Larry Lee had a meeting with Mr. Jiang, director of National Coal Conservation Department at Shenyang Green Hotel. Both sides had initial discussions on the possibility of culture exchange and related projects with EAST TIMOR
On November 15, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF, Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of USCF Beijing Office, and Wang Di, Assistant Supervisor of Culture and Art Department of USCF had a meeting with Du Ying Zi, Editor Chief of Dadi Magazine affiliated to People Daily. Both sides reached a draft agreement on sharing resources and related projects.
On November 18, 2005, Qu Sheng Yun, senior advisor of USCF, senior advisor of organizing committee of 2005 China Model Contest, Larry Lee, president of USCF, executive director of organizing committee of 2005 China Model Contest, Wang Bin, secretary of organizing committee of 2005 China Model Contest and Gong Hai Bin, senior advisor of organizing committee of 2005 China Model Contest flew to Dalian to attend the 2005 China Model Contest Dalian Division Final to be held in the afternoon.
On November 22, 2005, Qu Sheng Yun, senior advisor of USCF had a friendly meeting with Larry Lee, president of USCF. They reached a draft agreement on Qu’s acting as executive director of USCF, standing vice chairman of USCF. As a senior advisor of USCF, Qu contributed great enthusiasm and support to the work of USCF for many years. His joining into USCF was an honor to USCF and would bring more opportunities to USCF in its future development.
On November 23, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF, Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of USCF Beijing Office met with Andrew Zhang, supervisor of law department of US Owenton LT CO. Both sides discussed the cooperation in the field of venture investment.
On November 24, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF flew to the States to attend RSNA Exhibition held in Chicago. Liu Ji Ren, chairman of Neusoft, USCF’s partner, Zheng Quan Lu, president of Neusoft also attended this exhibition. Neuisys, distributor of Neusoft, in which USCF holds a stake, took part in this exhibition for third years. The areas of Neuisys’ booth in RSNA doubled than previous year. It also indicated that the business of Neuisys was on a quick track.
On November 26, 2005, Wang Di, Assistant Supervisor of Culture and Art Department of USCF, on behalf of Larry Lee, attended a signing ceremony named Han Qing Development Fund of International Education organized by Renming University. The guests attending this ceremony included leaders in central government, president of Renming University, CEOs of domestic, well-known enterprises. Wang Di, on behalf of USCF expressed best wishes for the Fund at the ceremony.
