After Chinese National Holiday, USCF starts all sorts of work.
During this holiday, Larry Lee, president of USCF flew to the States and coordinate the work there. During his stay in the US, Larry met members, advisors and strategic partners of USCF in New York, Philadelphia, New Jersey and other places in the US; had thorough discussion with them in the fields of investment, financing. His trip to the States had achieved expected results.
Division Final of the 2005 China Model Contest organized by USCF will start soon. The preparation of the 2005 China Model Contest Final is also under way.
The training programs in the States organized by USCF is actively under way. The purpose of this program is to raise management level of officials in government and corporate through learning advanced management skills of government and corporate in the States. These programs are organized by USCF, Monterey University, Duke University and other well-known US universities. Each class in the program consists of 20-30 students. The students, after getting approval from US representatives, will apply for their visas for short-term training in the States. The training programs adopt teaching models through classrooms and interviewing managers, focusing on communication and dialogue, enable students to know about business models and management in the US companies within short time. The students will be granted graduation certificates after completing their courses.
On October 24, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF met Liu Hai Bo, senior engineer and director of Information Department of China Private Enterprises Development Association. They discussed the details of the 2006 New Year Concert. On October 25, 2005, USCF drafted the plan of the 2006 New Year Concert. This concert will be scheduled to hold in People’s Great Hall in middle January 2006 in Beijing. Song Fei, well-known Erhu player, well-known singers and artists will be invited to perform at this concert. Special guests to attend this concert will include well-known people in sectors of politics, culture, education, diplomacy, finance, law, technology, and media. Currently, the preparation for this concert and sponsoring are actively underway.
