September 15, 2005, Larry Lee, President of USCF and Dai Tongde , Special Assistant to president attended the China-Europe Economic and Trade Summit Forum in Shenyang. In order to promote the economic and trade communication and cooperation between China and the European countries, China Industry and Economic Association and Hamburg Chamber of Commerce launched this forum together. During the period, President Larry Lee met with Ms. Gu Xiulian, the Vice Chairman of the standing committee of China People’s Congress, Vice president of China Women Association, the honor Chairman of China Industry and Economic Association; Mr. Xu Kuangdi, the Vice Chariman of CPPCC, the president of China Engineering Institute, Chairman of China Industry and Economic Association; Mr. Zhang Xingxiang, Vice General secretary of Liaoning People’s Committee and General Secretary of Shenyang People’s Committee; and Mr. Chen Zhenggao, Mayor of Shenyang City. They held a friendly conversation and exchanged sincere regards to each other. In the last two days of the forum, President Larry Lee participated in the topic talks and discussions and met with President and CEO of BMW Eberhard Schrempf, Senior Vice President of UPS Richard Loi, Board Chairman of Great United Petroleum Co.,LTD Gong Jialong etc. During the meeting, President Larry Lee introduced the splendid history and future plan of USCF to them, and then they had a further discussion on the interested topics and expressed the willing for further cooperation.
On September 16, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF, Dai Tong De, assistant to president of USCF and Su Ning, chief representative of USCF Shenyang Office were invited to hold a meeting with Zheng Quan Lu, president of Neusoft Medical Digital Equipment Company at Neusoft. Larry Lee told Zheng Quan Lu Neuisys’s current sales situation and marketing strategy, Neuisys is a US company in which USCF holds a stake. Zheng Quan Lu praised highly sales so far made by Neuisys and he considered Neuisys as Neusoft’s long-term, reliable strategic partner.
September 17, 2005, Larry Lee, President of USCF and Dai Tongde, Special Assistant to president arrived in Dalian to direct the works of 2005 Model Competition Dalian Division. President Larry Lee gave his greetings of Mid-Autumn festival to all the staffs of Dalian Competition Division and showed his satisfactions to their outstanding works. And then Mr. Larry Lee declared the new advancement of the competition in the whole nation to the staffs and gave his directions to the future works.
September 23, 2005, the Golden Autumn Friendship Reception organized by USCF successfully opened in Shanghai Marriott Hongqiao Hotel. Mr. Ken Jarrett, the new American Consul General to Shanghai, accompanied by President Larry Lee, stepped into the banquet hall at 6:40 pm. President Larry Lee, Chairman of China Foreign Affairs Association and the senior consultant of USCF Qiu Shengyun, Deputy Mayor of Huzhou City Pu Chun and the American Consul General to Shanghai gave their addresses and remarks to the reception. Then the guests enjoyed an elegant singing and dancing performance given by the young artists. The reception lasted to 10:30 pm, and all the guests returned with satisfaction and happiness. The next day, Mr. Jarrett sent a letter to express his thanks to the beautiful evening USCF brought to him. And the other guests also sent letters to express their thanks, and hope for further cooperation.
On September 29, 2005, the Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Shenyang invited USCF and other 60 consulting firms based in China to hold a meeting in Shenyang Lido Hotel. The meeting aimed at attracting more investment into Shenyang through consulting firms. Su Ning, chief representative of USCF Shenyang Office attended this meeting and held a talk during this meeting with Ms. Zhang Mei, vice director of the Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Shenyang. Su Ning mentioned in this talk that USCF has been playing an active role in Shenyang’s many major events such as inviting many US well-known bankers and entrepreneurs to attend the 2002 Shenyang Mechanics Expo and explore the investment environment in Shenyang; helping Neusoft to distribute their CT, MRI and other medical equipments in the US market in which the competition is very intense. USCF has made a great stride in assisting Shenyang Municipal Government in its measures such as “ Let the world know more about Shenyang, let Shenyang more open to the outside world” and will continue to make its contribution in attracting more foreign investment into Shenyang.
September, 2005, President of USCF Larry Lee met twice with Mr. Huang Weiqi, an entrepreneur from Chongqing to discuss the cooperation of setting up USCF Chongqing Office. The office is expected to play an important role in exploiting the businesses in Southwest area, and promoting the international exchanges of Chongqing city and the other provinces and cities in this area with America. Mr. Huang showed his confidence in the future of USCF’s businesses in southwest China and would help to set up USCF Chongqing Office.
