August 3, 2005, Larry Lee, President of USCF held a friendly conversation with Mr. Ma Guilin, director of Foreign Affairs committee of China Charity Federation. USCF Culture and Art Director Li Yanxin and Culture and Art Assistant Che Yunling also presented. The two sides discussed the cooperation of the Charity Ball, which was directed by USCF and expected to hold in October. Trough the conversation, the USCF and CCF made a friend relationship and Director Ma, who is experienced in Charity affairs, gave his advice and suggestions to our Charity Ball. Finally, the two reached an agreement to work together as the host of the Charity Ball.
August 18,2005, Mr. Larry Lee, President of USCF and Executive President of the Organizing Committee of 2005 China Model Contest, flew to the two important cities of Northeast Contest Division Sheng Yang and Dalian for the contest coordination and promotion. And on August 24, President Lee, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, gave authorization to Dalian Befut Wire & Cable Co. Ltd and USCF Sheng Yang office for the Dalian Contest Division organizing and coordinating. The contest in Dalian is expected to be one part of Dalian International Fashion Festival in September 2005. Dalian will be the first city to hold the division contest in Northeast area, and then undertake the final contest of the Northeast.
August 18, 2005, on the invitation of Vice Secretary General of Shengyang Municipal Committee Liu Ying, Larry Lee, president of USCF, went to Shengyang Municipal Committee to hold a conversation with Mr. Liu on the 2005 Model Contest in Shengyang Contest Division. In the conversation, Mr. Liu showed that the related departments of Shengyang Municipal Committee would strongly support the contest in Shengyang.
In the morning of August 21, 2005, the Model Contest Organizing Group leading by President Larry Lee flew from Dalian to Shanghai to meet the related governors and company managers for the Middle East Contest. Through the discussion, they made an encouraging progress in the contest structuring, people inviting, and the ways of sponsoring. As a result, Shanghai Jiali PR Company and China Hi-tech Culture and Art Co.Ltd were authorized to be the cooperators of USCF in Shanghai for the contest.
August 23, 2005, President Larry Lee met Mr.Wang Ming, the President of China Hi-tech Culture and Art Co.Ltd, Mr. Sun Yu, General Manager of Shanghai JiaLi PR Company, and Mr. Song Dingyuan, the director of USCF Shanghai Office respectively. They had constructive discussions on the preparation of Golden Autumn Friendship Reception, which will be held in September 23, 2005, in Shanghai. And in the same day, President Larry Lee inspected the new place of USCF Shanghai Office.
August 24, the Organizing Committee of 2005 China Model Contest gave authorization to Dalian Befut Wire & Cable Co. Ltd and USCF Sheng Yang office for the Model contest organizing and coordinating in Dalian.
August 27, 2005, President of USCF and Executive President of the Organizing Committee of 2005 China Model Contest Larry Lee, Chief Director of the magazine L’OFFIEL and Executive President of the Organizing Committee of 2005 China Model Contest Zhou Changqing, and Director for the 2005 China Model Contest TV Promotion Gong Haibin met a chief manager of one famous TV channel of China in Beijing Jintai Hotel. The two sides had a three-hours friendly communication about the long-term cooperation on the contest promotion and execution. They reached agreements on many important issues.
August 30, 2005, the New American Consul General to Shanghai Mr. Kenneth Jarrett gladly confirmed that he would attend the Reception hold by USCF in September 23, 2005, in Shanghai. The original purpose of the reception was to welcome Mr. Jarrett taking the new post in Shanghai. However, Mr. Jarrett humbly expressed that in order to make the reception be more widely influenced, Golden Autumn Friendship Reception will be a better title for the reception. And he will attend it as the main guest. So, it is formally named Golden Autumn Friendship Reception.
