On June 1, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF and Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of USCF Beijing office had a talk with Wang Ping, Supervisor of Overseas Theater Company of China Theater Company. They discussed the details of the US tour performance named China Artistic Soul. Both parties hoped more opportunities for future cooperation.
On June 1, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF and Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of USCF Beijing office met with Zhou Chang Qing, chairman of Fashion Journal Press. They reached common grounds for jointly organizing the Model Contest and clinched the final agreement for cooperation.
On June 6, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF, Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of USCF Beijing office and Guan Jing, assistant to president of USCF visited Chai Ze Ming, senior advisor of USCF at his home. They reported to Chai on the works done recently by USCF. Mr. Chai gave his advice and suggestion on the current works of USCF.
On June 10, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF and Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of USCF Beijing office met with Mr. James, president of Everblooming Enterprises Inc. They discussed at length about future, possible cooperation between them. Mr. James wished to be a member of USCF Friendship Association.
On June 10, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF and Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of USCF Beijing office met with Ms. Kristen Scott. They discussed issues related to education projects.
On June 16, 2005, Mr. Ernest Scalberg, president of Monterey Business School visited Beijing. A reception banquet was held at Yihe Yaju restaurant for welcoming Mr. Scalberg’s visit. The guests invited to attend the banquet included: Mr. Chai Zeming, senior advisor of USCF, former first Chinese ambassador to the US and his daughter Chai Yanxia; Mr. Qiu Shengyun, senior advisor of USCF, former Chinese Consul General in New York and his wife; Sun Le Jun, deputy director of China Development Bank; Jiang Shuang, general manager of Xinniu Investment Consulting Firm and his wife. Larry Lee, president of USCF and all staff in USCF Beijing branch office were present at the banquet.
On June 20, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF and Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of USCF Beijing office visited Ambassador Qin Huasun and Ambassador Jin Ronjian respectively at their homes. They reported to them the works done recently by USCF.
On June 21, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF and Kuan Jing, assistant to president of USCF met with Ms. Lu Chaoxia, vice president of Neusoft and executive director at the office of Neusoft’s subsidiary in Beijing. They discussed at length the cooperation in areas of finance, insurance, taxation and signed a draft agreement for cooperation. This talk laid solid foundations for future, specific cooperation between both parties.
On June 21, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF and Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of USCF Beijing office met with Huo Zhenzhen, general manager of Hong Kong International Culture Development Company, Xiao Bao, deputy manager. They reached a draft agreement on 2005 Model Contest Western Division.
On June 22, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF and Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of USCF Beijing office met with Wu Weiqiang, president of American English Language University in Beijing. They discussed the English summer camp program and finally reached a final agreement The English summer camp will be held during July 18 till August 4, 2005.
On June 23, Larry Lee, president of USCF and Dai Tongde, special assistant to president of USCF signed a long term agreement for strategic partnership with Jiang Shuang, general manager of Xinniu Investment Consultancy Firm. Both parties would work together to explore markets for experienced customers and provide customized, value-adding services through long-term partnership in the win-win, practical ways, acquiring better reputation, customer loyalty and creating more wealth.
On June 24, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF and Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of USCF Beijing office came to National Post Bureau and had a talk with related officials in the department of this bureau providing public services on the cooperation in area of E-business.
On June 29, 2005, USCF and the Center for Technology Development of Xinyang, Henan Province officially signed an agreement for strategic partnership, exploring SiO2 resources, which is rich in Xinyang City. USCF and the Center would build up SiO2 Manufacturing Base through raising funds, selecting other potential enterprises at home and abroad to join the program. The Base would enhance local economy and bring rapid growth for SiO2, Pearlite and related industries in Xinyang City.
Currently, “China Artistic Soul” ----the US Tour Performance made by China Conservatoire had a breakthrough development. USCF, China Conservatoire, Jin Tielin Musical Center finally determined the list of artists for the US Tour Performance through many rounds of discussions. The vocal artists on the list include: Peng Liyuan, well-known singer from the Music and Dance Group of General Political Department, postgraduate of Vocal Music Department of China Conservatoire; Dai Yuqiang, male singer from China Opera Institute; Wu Bixia, well-known singer, professor of National Conservatoire, postgraduate of Chinese Traditional Music Department of China Conservatoire; Wang Lida, young singer from the Music and Dance Group of General Political Department, graduate of Chinese Traditional Vocal Music Department of China Conservatoire; Chen Lili, singer from Beijing Opera Group, graduate of Chinese Traditional Vocal Music Department of China Conservatoire; Dong Hua, postgraduate of Chinese Traditional Vocal Music Department of China Conservatoire; Zhu Jiali, postgraduate of Chinese Traditional Vocal Music Department of China Conservatoire; Xue Hongxia, postgraduate of Chinese Traditional Vocal Music Department of China Conservatoire; Ar Lipujiang, postgraduate of Chinese Traditional Vocal Music Department of China Conservatoire; Li Lin, postgraduate of Chinese Traditional Vocal Music Department of China Conservatoire; Huang Jinjin, model student of Chinese Traditional Vocal Music Department of China Conservatoire, etc. The well-known musical instrument players include: Song Fei, well-known Erhu player and professor of China Conservatoire. The flute solo, Pipa solo, Guzheng solo would be performed by model students from China Conservatoire.
At the same time, the US cities organizing the tour performance have been further determined. Until now, the US cities chosen by USCF for the tour performance are as follows: Washington DC, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Huston, Dallas. Our members and friends in various walks of society in the cities mentioned above gave great help to the tour performance. Again, Larry Lee expresses his gratefulness to their support.
Also, the concert “China Artistic Soul” got comprehensive attention from across China. Many theater companies in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Chongqing, wished to organize the concert at their cites. In order to meet the domestic audience’s demands for enjoying the Chinese traditional art expressed in the concert, USCF is scheduled to hold special concerts named “China Artistic Soul” in Shenzhen and in southwest of Liaoning Province in late August, 2005.
On June 29, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF; Kim Russell, CEO of Medscan; William Harrison, well-known US banker, president of Harvest Investment Services Company arrived in Shenyang for two-day visit. Shenyang is the most economically active city in China. In the afternoon, Liu Jiren, president of Neusoft Group, Zhen Quanlu, vice president of Neusoft Group and president of Neusoft Digital Medical Systems Company and other high ranking officials in the Neusoft Group had a meeting with the three visiting US guests for over two hours. President Liu was very satisfied with the current cooperation between Neusoft and Medscan. Both parties exchanged views on strategy of expending export in the US, technology support and other important issues. They were very optimistic about the perspective of future, large-scale cooperation. President Liu and other officials in Neusoft had a dinner together with the visiting US guests in the evening.
On June 30, 2005, 10: 30 am, Chen Zheng Gao, Mayor of Shenyang City met with the visiting US guests at Zhouji Hotel located at the downtown of Shenyang. The visiting US guests were Larry Lee, president of USCF; Kim Russell, CEO of Medscan; William Harrison, well-known US banker, president of Harvest Investment Services Company. Mayor Chen was pleased to hear that Medscan and Neusoft had reached common grounds for further extending cooperation. He also expressed that he would give support to the cooperation between Neusoft and Medscan. Song Qi, vice mayor of Shenyang, Fang Xiang Dong, director of Shenyang Foreign Affairs Office and Chen Shanhui, vice president of Neusoft Digital Medical Systems Company were present at the meeting.
The visiting US guests successfully concluded their visit to Shenyang and flew back to the US respectively on July 1, and July 2.
