After May Holiday, the projects of USCF started comprehensively: China Model Contest; the US tour performance named Artistic Soul of China; China International University; Digital Medical Equipment and SiO2 Ore project, etc. All staff in all of offices of USCF worked together to carry out all projects above-mentioned.
On May 11, 2005, Larry Lee, president of USCF, Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of Beijing Office of USCF and Li Yan Xin, Supervisor of Art and Culture Department of USCF were invited to visit China Charity Association and had a meeting with Ms. Rong Hai Lan, Standing Director of China Charity Association. Ms. Rong warmly invited USCF to participate in China Charity Campaigns throughout China, which will begin in the period of June and July 2005. The specific forms of this cooperation between USCF and China Charity Association were under consideration.
On May 14,2005, Larry Lee and Kuan Jing, Project Manager met with Zhang Yu Ping, Director of CCTV, who was in charge of Gold Partner Model Contest. Both parties discussed deeply the current status of model industry in China and exchanged views on the issues such as prospective of China model industry and its development trend. Through exchanging views with insiders in model industry, USCF further determined the goal of standardizing China model industry and establishing famous brands of China model industry through the ‘2005 China Model Contest’ organized by USCF.
On May 15 2005, Larry Lee, Hu Dong Yuan, Chief Representative of Beijing Office of USCF, Li Yan Xin, Supervisor of Art and Culture Department of USCF, Wang Bin, Secretary General of Culture Promotion Association and Zhou Chang Qing, Chairman of the journal ‘Fashion’ Press discussed the details of 2005 China Model Contest and reached an agreement. The Fashion, which cooperated with the France journal OFFICIEL on copyright, was high quality, popular journal enjoying a circulation of 1,500,000 volumes in China.
Between May 16 to May 22, 2005, president Larry Lee flew to the US and visited our members and advisers of USCF in Los Angels, Raleigh, Chicago, Huston and other cities. At the headquarter of Neuisys in Greensboro NC, in which USCF has a stake, Larry Lee met with Kim Russell, president of Neuisys and Tom Buse, vice president of Neuisys. Larry Lee, Kim Russell, and Tom Buse had formal business talk with visiting guests from Neusoft Digital Medical Company, SF Chen, vice president of NDMC, Ingrid Du, manager of International Business Department of NDMC. Both parties were satisfied with the cooperation and paid much attention to the RSNA in December 2005. The details of planning related to this exhibition also were discussed at this meeting.
During May 25 2005 to May 28 2005, president Larry Lee flew to Chong Qing. He examined thoroughly the conditions for opening USCF branch office in Chong Qing. During his stay in Chong Qing, Larry Lee was greeted warmly by local officials, celebrities and USCF’s members. In Beipei District Chong Qing City, president Lee had a talk with Mr. Huang, leader of this district and other officials. They also exchanged views on International University Program in Chong Qing.
During May 28 to May 31, president Larry Lee and Dai Tong De, Special Assistant to president of USCF were invited by Xinyang Technology Promotion Center to visit Henan City, Henan Province. They had a talk with officials in Pinqiao District Xinyang City and exchanged views on attracting investments to explore local SiO2 resource. Zhang Mingchun, leader of Pinqiao District anticipated many=ways, long-term cooperations with USCF in areas of industry, culture and infrastructure. Both parties had same opinions on many issues under the principal of win-win and mutual trust.
Currently, ‘Artistic Soul from China’ -----the work related to China Conservatory US Tour Performance proceeds smoothly. Larry Lee, president of USCF flew to the US and reached draft agreements with many main cities in the US after many rounds of negotiation. After the tour in the US, the delegation will return China and perform in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Beijing, Shenzheng, and Chongqing and other major cities in China. The press conference of ‘Artistic Soul from China’ -------China Conservatory US Tour Performance Concert will be held recently. Campaigns for inviting sponsors of this concert will begin. We believe that by the end of September or the beginning of October, this tour will be a big hit in the US and they will bring the cream of Chinese Art into the hearts of the people all over the world and promote the international exchange and strengthen the friendship between the peoples of the US and China.
