News Letter of USCF for December, 2004

1) At 9:00 a.m. December 13, 2004, Larry Lee, executive president of USCF met with Mr. Nick Clements, the investment advisor of USCF. They exchanged views and reached an accord with each other on many items concerning Sino-US cooperations.

2) On the morning of December 14, 2004, Mr. Chen Xin, the section chief of the Small & Medium-sized Enterprises Foreign Communication Center of State Development and Reform Committee. In that afternoon, Mr. Zhang Youjin, the president of Investment Company of Contemporary Group interviewed with president Larry Lee and Mr. Nick Clements, the investment advisor in the Contemporary Mansion in person. They exchanged ideas regarding Sino-US cooperations projects.


3) On December 17, 2004, 77-year-old Doctor Gene Grace, Ambassador Chai’s old and loyal friend, came to Beijing from Shenyang by night train as soon as possible, ignoring the severe chill at night of this winter. Dr. Gene Grace went to Beijing Tongren Hospital to make a detailed check for Ambassador Chai’s eyes immediately without a minute’s stop, once getting off the train in the next early morning. Famous for his book and experience in ophthalmology, Doctor Gene Grace is the president of Complete Eye Care of America. With his excellent insights, and practice & study during his lifetime, it is not easy to judge him as a 77 years old senior. After his careful examination and repeated check-ups for Ambassador Chai, he putting forward the proposal, “ Keep his left eye and Cure his right one” based on his diagnosis above.

4) At 6:30 p.m. December12, 2004, invited by Sino-US Administration School, president Larry Lee and Ms.Zhu Julia, supervisor of Cultural and Art Exchange of USCF led all staff numbers of USCF to join the “Sino-US & Sino-France Administration Schools New Year Concert” held in the Beijing VIP Guest Mansion Hotel. Song “Wencheng Princess” sung by Ms. Zhu Julia and song “How are you, my motherland?” sung by Ms. Xie Ying, assistant to supervisor Ms.Zhu Julia brought the climax for this New Year Concert.

At the end of 2004,all USCF offices and USCF headquarter donated towards our advisors in China and abroad, with nearly more than 100 New Year Cards written best wishes on.
