Golden Autumn Festival Evening Party was held in the Macao Room of the Great Hall of the People on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 from 5:30-9:30 p.m., sponsored by the US-China Foundation and the International Institute of Multinational Corporations. Mr. Chai Zemin, general advisor to USCF, first Chinese Ambassador delivered a speech for the evening party specially.
Renowned artists from around the globe took part in the performance include the American violinist Mr. Chai Liang, the young folk singer Miss Zhu Jiali, tenor Mr. Zhao Dengfeng who is national first rank singer and the Japanese singer Miss Sagawara Yoshiko. Furthermore, Miss Xie Yingying, young singer in cultural and artistic department of USCF, and known China models in New Silk Co., ltd participated in the performance, applauded ebulliently by all the audience present. Mr. Zhou Hongxing, the featured educationalist, poem critic, calligrapher, stones collector displayed his consummate calligraphy including “ Different mountain and land under the same moon and wind in the sky”, given to the International Institute of Multinational Corporations and “Sea has the capacity to contain hundreds of river and Mountain soars to the heaven”.
The Australian crystal necklaces called“Marine Center”, which is be of high quality were given to the Japanese singer Miss Sagawara Yoshiko, renowned China model Miss Du Juan & Miss Xiao Qing. The necklaces made of noted Australian crystal give strong sense of nobility & elegance, shining brilliantly under banqueting luxuriant lights with brilliant cut.
