On Aug. 10, vice-chairman of the Liaoning Political Consultative Conference, Mr. Zhao Xinliang, and his wife, Professor Ma Guifen, met with the well-known financier and USCF senior advisor Mr. William Harrison together with entrepreneur Mr. Kim Russell, who was in Beijing to attend an economic and trade discussion in China. Mr. Larry Lee, Executive Director of USCF, and Mr. Warren Su, the Representative of the USCF Shenyang office, and a representative from Neusoft Group were also present at the meeting. A formal banquet followed.

On Aug. 11, the deputy mayor of Shenyang, Mr. Zhao Changyi, met with well-known financier and investment banker and USCF senior financial advisor Mr. William Harrison and his delegation, to discuss the economy, commercial exchanges and other areas of cooperation. Mr. Kim Russell, CEO of MedScan International, also attended the event and the dinner which followed. Mr. Zhao invited the American guests to Shenyang to attend the upcoming China Manufacture Equipment Expo in this September. The American guests very happily accepted the invitation. Director of the Shenyang Foreign Affairs Office, Mr. Fang Xiangdong, was also present at the meeting and the banquet.

On Aug. 15, USCF President Larry Lee flew to Shanghai for talks on the establishment of the International University in Shanghai with officials from the Shanghai Educational Bureau. The participants also discussed the economy and opportunities for commercial exchange and cooperation.

On Aug. 25, the USCF President flew back to Shenyang to hold talks with Mr. Zhao Xinliang, vice-chairman of the Liaoning Political Consultative Conference. Their discussion focused primarily on Liaoning International University and other important projects.

Cooperation with a well-known Costume Enterprise Group in Ningbo (Zhejiang province) is proceeding smoothly.
