With the effective control of the SARS epidemic in China, work of USCF keeps moving forward.
During this month, the Investment and Service Department of the Foundation has two large projects to hold talks: the first is to discuss cooperation entrusted by American clients with the largest furniture manufacturer in northeast area of China in order to develop and expand their sales market in America and worldwide by joint efforts. The second is to seek strategies and investments for a well-known commercial bank in China.
Other important projects for the Investment and Service Department of the US-China Foundation include: to exploit overseas markets for a digital medical company for China. After several months’ deliberate discussion, the two sides have agreed to the contract, and now the American participator has signed the contract. The Foundation is now planning and preparing a large-scale news press/release for this important international cooperative project.
USCF is always enthusiastic for the commonweal undertaking. During the recent month, we have been looking for authoritative hospitals in America to cure and help out of charity a girl from the Korean Minority in Dalian who is suffering from blood cancer; as well as for a young lady who has a terrible disease on her cerebrum functioning in Shenyang. Thus we are seeking the chance for their survivals. And our Foundation hopes that all the personnel and organizations full of affection can offer their assistance to save these precious and valuable lives.
On July 18, the Executive Director of USCF, Mr. Larry Lee, made a cordial communication regarding the recent work of Shenyang office of USCF with the related leaders of Liaoning province and Shenyang city in Song Yuan Chamber.
On July 21, Mr. Larry Lee, the Executive Director of USCF, went to Ningbo, (Zhejiang province); by air to hold talks about cooperative matters concerning a well-known international costume enterprise group.Work at the Beijing office of USCF is proceeding smoothly. The project to set up CBD International Hospital, in cooperation with Beijing Wanhe Hengyun Group, is in operation. The program of the International University is moving forward. Shanghai and Xiamen aspects have already formally invited the American university delegates to visit and discuss the details about the cooperation.A provincial city in south China is planning to establish an international medical center in cooperation with American hospitals through the efforts of USCF. And the project will commence soon.
The sending of USCF’s Tenth Anniversary book begins. This time’s sending is to the members, friends, advisors of USCF both in China and America; as well as the important members of the two governments (U.S. and Chinese).
