1. Mr. Larry L. Lee, the Executive Director of USCF and his wife, Ms. Julia J. Zhu came back from U.S.A. to China to attend " the Sodality of the Shenyangeese in the World". The activity organized by the Shenyang Overseas Chinese Office was held at Shenyang Business Trade Hotel on Aug. 16th. The aim of this activity is friendship---link, cooperation---main body and development---goal. As one of the overseas native of Shenyang, Mr. Larry L. Lee adlibbed during the meeting of " the Shenyangeese Walking To the World" held in the afternoon of Aug. 16th. After briefly introducing USCF to the whole members at the meeting, he mainly expounded the importance of developing and promoting the wide folk exchange between US and China. Meanwhile he emphasized that only truly entering into the main society of the country you were living in, people could truly understood its politics, economy, national culture and the natural conditions and social customs, and after that, the exchange activities in many fields could be done well. The meeting was finished at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Led by Mr. Larry L. Lee, parts of the employees in the Foundation went to the hotel to take part in the activity of " Business Trade Hold Talks, Business Consulting". After the free talk during the activity, lots of new friends were interested in the Foundation and some of them expressed that they hoped to have a chance to cooperation with the Foundation.

2. Mr. Larry L. Lee had a friendly meeting with Mr. Angus T. Simmons, the Consul General of the US Consulate and the Ms. Helen Clare Hudson, the Economic Consul General at Shenyang Consulate on Aug. 24th. During the meeting, they talked elaborately on "the US-China Forum", which was successfully held by the Foundation on July 20th and July 21st. And at the same time, Mr. Larry L. Lee specially invited them and other members of the Consulate Shenyang to travel in Xinbin Man People Autonomous County in Fushun to visit the last feudal dynasty- the Qing Dynasty's Zu Mausoleum and Yong Mausoleum on Sep.8 and Sep.9, 2001. At the news that the famous American soprano Svetlana would be invited by the Foundation to China to make performances recently, Mr. Angus T. Simmons was very pleased to express that he would give us permanent support to the exchange activities organized by the Foundation.

3. On the invitation of Mr. Yu Jin, the president of Lao Ning Province Guangsha Real Estate Exploring Co.,Ltd. and Mr. Huo Li, the Director of Nation Tax Bureau in Xinbin County, Fushun, Mr. Larry L. Lee and Ms. Julia J. Zhu visited the famous sightseeing in Xinbin Man People Autonomous County in Fushun with the staff of the Foundation. The places included the first one of the three Mausoleums outside Shan Hai Guan-Zu Mausoleum, Yong Mausoleum of Qing Dynasty, the first city of the Qing Dynasty named by people, the Ho Jin Capital -He Tu A La City, and virgin forest park.

Through the two days' visit, we not only knew more about historic figures and cultural heritage of the Man People Customs, but also enjoyed the nature splendor of the virgin forest with jagged rocks of grotesque shapes, which made people relaxed and happy after their breaking away from the tense work. During the whole trip, several upsurges came forth continuously such as the meal in the farmer house on 25th, instant-boiled mutton in the evening, the singing competition in the forest at the noon of 26th, and the buffet dinner adding to the fun. All of them were impressive. All the staff of USCF was deeply moved by the hospitable reception and the comprehensive arrangement of Liao Ning Guangsha Real Estate Exploring Co. Ltd., and the leaders of Nation Tax Bureau in Xinbin County, Fushun.
