1. The concert of Famous American Violinist-Oleh Krysa was held by the USCF and Shenyang Music Institute at 7:oopm on June 4th in the Concert Hall in Shenyang Music Institute. Mr. Oleh Krysa used to be the outright winner of Paganini Competition as famous master of violin. Mrs Simmons, the wife of the Consul General of Consulate General Shenyang and her children attended this concert. The audiences enjoyed a wonderful performance with high level, which performed by Mr. Oleh Krysa and his wife Tatiana Tchekina, who is the pianist. Shenyang Music Institute held a welcome banquet for the two musicians to celebrate the success of this performance. Mr. Pan Zhaohe, the Principal of Shenyang Music Institute, Mr. Qin Rongcheng, the president of Music Association, Mr. Quan Taicheng, the Music Director of this performance, Mr. Jia Shaojun, the Chief Representative and Mr. Chuck Cha, the Public affairs supervisor of US-China Foundation attended this banquet.

2. Sino-US Friendship Association has been established with strong desire and willing of members who attended the First Session of "US-China Forum" and other friends. The Association is affiliated to USCF and every one is interested in improving Sino-US Relation no matter from USA, PRC or other counties can be a member of the Association. (Please sees the attendance for details on the Association.)

3. US-China Foundation is a co-sponsor of the Friendship Cities Conference, which will be held between September 22 to 26 in Beijing. The organization of the event is China Friendship Association to Foreign Countries.

4. USCF will be a co-sponsor of Shenyang International Activity Month, which will be started from this coming September. The organizer of the event is Shenyang City Government of Liaoning Province.

5. USCF is partnered with CCTV (China Central Television Station) for the New Year Music Concert, which will be held at the new Concert Hall in Beijing University and broadcasting throughout China on December 31st, 2000, and January 1st and 2nd, 2001.

6. Larry Lee, Executive Director, and Chuck Cha, Supervisor of USCF's PR Department met with Li Xiaoming, Managing Partner of King and Wood, a Beijing Based Leading PRC Law Firm, discussed future co-operation together-specially for the second session of "US-China Forum" which will be held in Year of 2001 in Beijing on the topic of legal issues. Li Xiaoming is also a co-founder of USCF and on the current USCF Executive Board.

7. Larry Lee and Chuck Cha visited with Mr. Ken Jarret, the First Secretary of Political Section of US Embassy in Beijing. Ken has been an old friend of USCF and he will return to Washington DC this coming July. Ken expressed his willing of continuing support to USCF's work in improving Sino- US Relation and making better communication between the two peoples.
