2. Charles Wang: the richest Chinese in America, former director of CA Guanqun Company.
Nominated reason: his outstanding contribution for China-US bilateral communication and cooperation in the past several decades. Especially, he has founded the charity project ' the Smile Train ', which has been brought boon to hundreds of thousands of Chinese children suffering from harelip, and his substantial support to USCF.
3. James Sasser: former American ambassador in China.
Nominated reason: the most popular American ambassador in China acknowledged by Chinese people since the establishment of China-US diplomatic relations and his continued great contributions for the sustainable development of Sino-China friendship after he was relieved of his office.
4.Kenneth Jarrett: former American consul-general in Shanghai consulate, former American vice consul-general in Hong Kong.
Nominated reason: during his whole diplomatic career, ( American consulate-general in Chengdu, American embassy in China, American vice consul-general in Hong Kong and American consul-general in Shanghai), he has made great contributions to Sino-US bilateral relationship and Sino-US friendship and is popular and loved among the local Chinese people.
5.John Holden: former president of American National Committee on US-China relations, managing director of Hill & Knowlton (China) Public Relations Counselor Company Ltd.
Nominated reason: from 1998 t0 2005, Mr. John Holden held the post of president of American National Committee on US-China relations. National Committee on US-China relations founded in 1966, and devoted to the Healthy development of US-Sino relations. 21. Zhou Xisheng: vice president of Xinhua News Agency, president of Xinhuanet, former chief correspondent of Xinhua News Agency in UN.
