Great contribution to Sino-US friendship
To celebrate the 40th annivesary of People to People Diplomacy between China and US(1971-2011), enhance the People-People exchange between China and US, and establish a stable and harmonious Sino-US relations, US-China Foundation will launch an activity to choose 40 outstanding people in China and US who made great contribution to Sino-US friendship during the 40 years. We request you to actively recommend candidates to join this activity that there is no limit on the candidates’ age, sex, race, religion and profession. Non-govermental people can be the candidates.(the deadline for this is December 31, 2011) The winners will be awarded by the host the designation ‘Outstanding People for People to People Diplomacy between China and US’ and the Award for ‘great contribution to Sino-US friendship’ at the award ceremony in LA to be produced by the production company for the Oscar Awards during the Chinese Spring Festival.
