Larry Lee attended Changchun Movie Festival
On August 28th, 2010, Larry Lee, the president of USCF, attended Changchun Movie Festival which is co-hosted by State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, Jilin People’s Government and Changchun Municipal Government every two years. The slogan of this Changchun Movie Festival is “Movie sets up the stage, trade do the performance”, which combines the movie, culture, economy, trade, science & technology and tourism together in its content, emphasizes the spread of the current main theme through art, and seeks “the popularization of movie culture, the excellent harvest of trade activities”, “the high quality, the great benefits and the deep influence”. This festival was splendid with many stars; many famous film stars were present in this grand meeting, like Zhao Wei, Tang Guoqiang, Miao Pu and Liu Yifei and so on. Larry Lee had a kind talk and took photos with Tang Guoqiang, Li Qiankuan, the chairman of Film Association, and Tong Gang, the general director of State Film Bureau. They all hoped USCF to make contributions to the cooperation between China and US in the movie industry to have a win-win cooperation. During the festival in Chang Chun, Larry Lee had met his good friend Cui Jie, the mayor of Changchun city.
