The Asia – Pacific Arts Group Project
The Asia – Pacific Arts Group Project, which is run by USCF, is scheduled to begin on Sept. 28. The honorary Chairman and General Adviser is the well – known Chinese Musician, the President of China Conservatory of Music Professor Jin Tielin. Larry Lee ( the President of USCF ), Ning Liang (a famous singer and Head of the Classical Vocal Department at the China Conservatory of Music), and David Blackburn (the President and CEO of the NYIOP) have jointly established the project APAG/NYIOP Beijing 2006 to enhance the international level of Chinese vocal arts and to provide greater international exposure for Chinese and other potential Asian talents on some of the world’s greatest stages. The project will kick off in Beijing on September 28th, then tour Shanghai, Shenyang, Guangzhou, Ji’nan, Xi’an and Chengdu through Nov. 3rd.
