On Nov.7, USCF President Larry Lee, his assitant Liang Shuang, and suporviser od culture and art visited President Liu Mengye of Huahui Group. They had a extensive and deep discussion about the activities to be hosted by USCF in both China and US recently and other cooperation programs. President Liu showed strong interest in our programs and gave high praises to them.
On Nov.8, 2011, the plan of ' Chinese Paintings touring in America' is completed. This exhibition will be held together with the Award Ceremony of the 40th Anniversary of US-Sino People to People Diplomacy' in US. It will promote the friendship between Chinese and Americans, spread the traditional Chinese culture, develop Chinese contemporary calligraphy and painting arts, and play an active part in creating human harmony and the harmonious world.
From Nov., 10, 2011 to Nov., 18, 2011, USCF President Larry Lee and USCF suporviser of culture and art, Zhang Dandan visited the famous artist Mr. Pan Quanhai residing in America. Mr. Pan gratuated from Oil Painting Department of Minzu University of China Academy of Fine Arts. In 1998, he immigrated to US as outstanding talent. At present, he act as the standing director of International Chinese Artists Association and obtained Art Achievement Award from this Association. In July, 2007, due to his outstanding contribution to the exchange on arts and culture, he was awarded the title 'Honorary Citizen' by the state capital Baton Louge of Louisiana, US. After the meeting, Mr. Pan expressed his willingness to have a long-term cooperation with USCF and make contribution to Sino-US culture exchange and the spreading of Chinese national culture.
On Nov.13, 2011, USCF Culture Promotion Director Jing Feng, and USCF suporviser of culture and art, Zhang Dandan and Liu Chenrui visited the studio of the famous oil painting artist Wan Shanhe and discussed the cooperation. USCF decided to hold 'Protecting the Earth, Caring for the Nature' Oil Painting Exhibition of Chinese Artist Wan Shanhe tour in major cities in the US such as UN Headquarter, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, etc.
From Nov. 9, 2011 to Dec. 2, 2011, the Award Ceremony for the 40th Anniversary of US-China People to People Diplomacy' started. The organizing committee contacted USCF members, clients and media for this event, and carried out the related work step by step.
From Nov. 28, to 29, 2011, USCF President Larry Lee came to Shanghai for business. During his stay there, President Lee met with President Xue Peijian of Shanghai Media Group, and President Chen Liang of Bolei Investment and Consulting Company, etc. They reached common grounds on many programs in Shanghai next year. USCF will make greater efforts to expend its business in Shanghai. Next year, some key programs will be launched seperately in Shanghai.
