Series reports on USCF President Lee's visiting Sichuan for business
USCF President Larry Lee met with Mr. He Mengde, the newly appointed American consul-genral in Chengdu, at Mr. He's office in US general consulate in Chengduon Sept. 22. They had a pleasant conversation. At first, President Lee explained the series activities that USCF had sponsored for promoting China-US friendship in recent years, such as "Redwood, Julia Jiali Zhu's solo concert-a Celebration for Sino-US friendship" in Houston, Beijing Poly Theater, etc., and "Sharing the full moon together" held in New York, which included the presentation of a award for outstanding contribution to Sino-US friendship. After President Lee's talking, consul-general He Mengde praised the exchange activities hosted by USCF, and hoped that USCF could hold more activities in Chengdu and other cities in south-east.The administrative consul Zhang was also present at the meeting.At the invitation of USCF, the vice consul-general of US general consulate in Chengdu attended the 20th anniversary celebration party of Neusoft Group on Sept. 23. At this patty, Julia Jiali Zhu sang " love, at the same planet", whose lyrics was written by USCF President Larry Lee himself.
