On the evening of Jan. 19th, American time, the President Barack Obama was giving a banquet to entertain Chinese Chairman Hu Jintao in the White House. During the meal, Lang Lang, as the only Chinese artist, played a wonderful perform for these two leaders. This was the second time for Lang Lang to meet Chairman Hu in the White House, it was during the term of President George Walker Bush last time. Lang Lang said warmly that:" It is my great pleasure to make some contributions to the friendship between China and America and the world peace." Lang Lang firstly played the "Chinese Adults"-the extract of Mother Goose with knight master Herbie, and then played a solo "My Motherland".

As we all known, "My Motherland" was the episode of famous film "Battle on Shanggailing Mountain" in the fifty, which reflected the brave spirits of the Chines People's Volunteers on the Korean battlefield to fight with American armys. Most Chinese couldn't forget the scene full of power and grandeur that the hero Wang Cheng yelled"For the champion, fire to me".

It is no doubt the smoke of gunpowder would evanish, and the hero's figure would not be forgotten by that time. As we come into the 21st century, the core of modern world is peace, cooperation and development. We are all alerted that it is very precious to keep peace by the horrifying battle. In the recent interview with American media, Chairman Hu emphasized that it would be good for both sides if our two countries were peaceful, otherwise, it would be damaged each other, and our two countries should suppress interference, cope with the challenges, make opposite direction to push the development of the relationship between our two countries from the point of the fundamental interests of our people and the world peace and development.

Recently, the Chinese image trailer is broadcasting in the New York Times Square, which is showing a strong signal that our Chinese people love peace, dare to innovate, pursue harmony and look forward to peace.

After hundreds years of struggles and the policy of reforming and opening for over 30years, China has become a strong,abundant and self-confident country whose people live and work in peace and contentment, which can make more contributions to the world harmonious development.

Although the relationship between China and America was not so solid before, the tend of development was still becoming better and better. Jan. 19th, 2011, is doomed to be written in the annals of history, because the intuition of artist is better than the argument of statesman. When the beautiful melody of "My Motherland " was coming from the fingers of Lang Lang, it expressed the both wishes to make good friends between the two countries. Lang Lang played not only the song of loving country, but also the harmony of the whole human.
