The 2010 Northeast Asia Development Forum, which focuses on “New Economy, New Cooperation, and New Development”, had a grand opening ceremony in Shenyang Huangchao Wanxin International Hotel on the morning of August 30th. The highest four officials of Shenyang, Zeng Wei, the municipal party secretary, Chen Haibo, the mayor, Zhao Changyi, the director of the national people’s congress and Liu Yaqin, the chairman of Political Consultative Conference, attended the dinner before the ceremony. There were thousands of distinguished guests who come from Russia, Korea, Japan, Mongolia, North Korea, China and other regions attending the dinner. Yan Junqi, the vice chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Chen Zhenggao, the governor of Liaoning province, Han Seung-soo, the former premier of Korea and Chang Wu Buqin, the former secretary of Japan Liberal Democratic Party all attended the opening ceremony of this forum.

This forum which kept on the combination between theme meeting and investment, the combination between exhibition marketing and friendly communication, aimed to establish a platform of communication and cooperation for every country in Northeast Asia and other relative countries or regions, to promote the optimizing configuration of bilateral and multi-lateral economy and resources, to deepen the cooperation of economy and trade, boost the coordinated growth, strengthen the harmonious relationship in the process of seeking growth and development, build up a regional cooperative mechanism which is suitable for the region’s reality, get the common prosperity of Northeast Asia region, speed up the overall revitalization of northeast old industrial bases in Liaoning and the swift development of Shenyang economical society.

Larry Lee, Ben Shenglin, the bank business supervisor in China region of JPMorgan Chase & Co, Zhang Tianwei, the director of JPMorgan Chase & Co of Investment in China, who was invited by USCF, all attended this forum. On August 31st, director Zhang delivered a speech which topic is “The important power for developing the new industry-Private placement capital”. In his speech, he introduced the industrial development and evolution which are promoted by innovation, and made it clear that features of high risks of new industry. He put forward the opinion of encouraging and protecting the entrepreneurship, and looked ahead at the prospect of new industrial development.
