On July 18th, USCF president Larry Lee was invited to fly to Benxi to attend the "2010 China . Liaoning ( Benxi ) Investment Symposium of Overseas Traders in Pharmaceutical Industry ".

As one of the most important cities in Shenyang Economic Zone, Benxi municipal government has formed the development strategy for the future, which is to aim in the standard production and management of International Chinese Medicine as the main goal to set up the platform of national research and development for new drugs, meanwhile, to set up Liaoning (Benxi) industrial base for biomedicine in order to establish the "China Northern Pharmaceutical Valley”.

This Symposium was hosted by Benxi Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. When all the participants arrived in Benxi that evening, the reception dinner held at Fuhong Taizicheng hotel was chaired by Gao Shengping, the vice mayor of Benxi City, and Wang Shiwei, the mayor of Benxi gave the opening speech at the reception. The opening ceremony and signing ceremony for the projects were held on July 19th when Mr. Chen Zhenggao attended, the Governor of Liaoning Province, and he also gave a speech.

During this visit to Benxi , USCF President Larry Lee also had met with several officials of Benxi government and made some new friends, and then he came back to Shenyang on the evening of July 19th.
