On behalf of all the Advisers and numerous American supporters of US China Foundation I extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for continued success on the occasion of the glorious Moon Festival at the Lincoln Center in New York City on October 3 and 4, 2009.

Since 1992 you have worked diligently in the promotion of cordial cultural, educational and social relations between the Chinese and American people. And your exemplary efforts have been recognized year after year by the top level leaders in the USA and China who are too numerous to mention but include several former Presidents and highest ranking PRC officials.

Suffice it to say that for this USCF Watching the Moon Festival at the Lincoln Center you have invited the Honorable Dr. Henry Kissinger the pioneer visionary with President Richard Nixon in the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the USA nearly 30 years ago.

As my Chinese mentor Madam Soong Ching Ling told me in 1980 the friendship between the Chinese and American people is at the forefront of overseas relations for China and cannot be diminished despite occasional misunderstandings. And so in organizing the October 3 & 4 event you are fulfilling the legacy of the "Mother of China " Madame Soong and in doing so you make 
a priceless and lasting contribution to the ever growing and strenghtened relationship in all sectors for the people of China and the USA. 

It is my great honor and pleasure to serve as a Senior Advisor to USCF together with a distinguished group of Chinese and American leaderswho are filled with admiration for the Moon Festival events you are so capably arranging on October 3 & 4.
